Akuko magazine is on a mission to provide a platform for writers and artists from the African continent and its Diaspora to share their stories and creativity.

For our inaugural issue, we ran a competition and accepted entries in the categories of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. The pieces in this issue are the winning entries and honorable mentions for each category.
